Wow, it’s 2010 already! Actually, why am I feigning surprise? The years go by so quickly these days. Anyway, I hope you all had a great Christmas and and a good new year. I know I did.
As you can see, new layout for 2010. It’s a tad on the dark side if you couldn’t tell, lol. It’s a bit different from what I usually do but I like it. The box at the top still functions as a dynamic sidebar. I have removed the links to my visitor content, etc as I’m revamping all that. And for those of you who don’t follow my twitter, I opened Mikage.nu! So check it out.
So a few nights ago Ashley and I went to the 9.15pm showing of Avatar in 3D at Ace Cinemas, let me just say; it is a brilliant movie! The 3D is used to it’s full capabilities too, not by having objects fly at you in the face, but increasing your depth of vision of the movie. You feel like you’re actually involved. Truly gorgeous, the use of colour and just everything. It’s a must see. Did I forget to mention that the lead actor Sam Worthington is from my town, Rockingham? He was just a regular bricky! Not only that but he attended JC, which I attended in year 8.
The movie is quite long, it finished by about 12am. Ash and I left the cinemas and started walking around in the general direction of her house (40 minute walk). The shops and carparks were empty, completely isolated and silent. Though cars were still buzzing around crazily, one car had actually pulled up at an ATM located on the outside of Rockingham City Shopping Centre. A female of about her late 20s was accompanied by a male also of his late 20s, they were trying to get money out but with no avail. Thing was, their conversation was horribly loud, they were those kind of people who need to speak loud to feel important (I assume anyway).
Ash and I were walking around in bogan fashion trying to mock the AYAYAYAY sound from Avatar, we were quite loud. When we started to hear the couple talking loudly, typically Ash yells at me; “Can you hear me if I talk this loud Corey?” and I reply loudly with something like “Sorry, what did you say? I couldn’t hear you.” We intended for the couple to hear us, and boy did they! The girl turns around and yells “What bitch, you wanna go?” whilst the guy joins in “Come back and say it to our faces, fucking dickheads!”
Ash and I continue walking whilst retorting. Ash yells something like “Careful if you sleep with that dirty slut tonight, how much was she?” I then chose to add “GROW SOME FARRRRKIN BAAAAAALLLLLLS!”. That did it. They got in their car and started driving after us, we were only 50 metres ahead so we took a turn across the road and sprinted for it. Ashley stayed hidden in the bush whilst I ran pretty much everywhere. I even walked straight into them once, fortunately they didn’t take much notice as they were calling up more people.. TO FIND US.
Fuck. I ended up running all around Rockingham trying to get away from them and their huge group of friends with cars chasing after me. My plan was to find a payphone and call Ash, seeing as I had lost her and it was past 1am, plus I have no credit on my mobile. Everywhere I went I could still hear them yelling, searching for us. It was quite scary, the people they had gathered were so freaking intimidating, like huge men and trashy girls. Maybe the latter isn’t so intimidating, but it certainly is a sight for sore eyes.
Eventually I found an isolated payphone, called Ash only to find out she was at home. Whilst I was back at Ace Cinemas. Stewy (her Dad) and her came to pick me up. They had been looking for me prior to Ash’s arrival at home.
Ash told me that she had eventually moved from the bushes to a huge tree which she climbed up and was vertically above where our enemies base was. Once she saw all the other cars arriving that’s when she called her Dad. And you know what? Her Dad drove right into the pack and Ash got down from the tree and walked to her Dad’s car. As she was walking one of the girls yelled; “What, you think you can just go like that?” and stepped forward in Ash’s direction. Ashley just shrugged and took a step forward and said “You seriously want to start on me?” and the girl backed off. Just so you guys know, Ash is a big girl. Super strong, no scrawny, trashy slut would ever try take her, unless they were planning on dying.
So that’s what happened. All in all it was extremely fun running away from a big mob of people with cars. Unfortunately for them, my legs will always outsmart their cars. That was their mistake. They were too lazy to run on foot after us, they would just yell a shit load of threats/insults.
2010 is looking good. Har har.
